Hello everyone ! In this tutorial, we will learn how to use automate.video and PresenterGPT directly from PowerPoint with an add-in. Let’s begin !
First, open your PowerPoint file. Then go to the insert panel on the top left of your screen. Click on the « get add ins » button and type « automate.video » in the search bar. The first result should be the one we are looking for, click on the « add » button right next to it.
Once it’s done, a window will appear. From there you can register for free to our service or, if you are an existing user, you can login using your credentials just like on the web version of automate.video.
From here, you have access to all the options that are available on the web version. Such as creating a voiceover or a virtual presenter from the notes section of your file, or from a script created by the artificial intelligence PresenterGPT.
Let’s create a virtual presenter from the notes section. Select the option and pick an avatar. Then, click on the « convert powerpoint to video » button. It can take several minutes depending on the length of your file. Just like with the web version, you can continue your work and you will receive an email once your video is ready.
You can also click on the « Account » tab and then on the « your videos » link to automatically log into the automate video interface and list all your videos and collections. You will be able to preview your video and see the result once the rendering is finished.
All these features are also available for the web version of the Office suite. Open PowerPoint online, then click on the « Add-ins » button, on the right of the « Home » ribbon. And repeat the exact same procedure that we’ve seen above. To log with you Google account, please note that you will be asked to allow automate dot video to open a new window. Click « allow » if you see that message.
