In this tutorial, we will learnhow to customize your virtual presenter so that you can lift some of the restrictions linked to the use of the stock avatars.
The first thing to know is that you can use the stock avatars for most of your training and internal communication needs without limitation. However, since stock avatars are based on real persons, there are some uses that are restricted. For example, you can’t use a stock avatar in a commercial or a video ad, or to express a political opinion.
With virtual presenter customization, we are using AI to replace the avatar face with a life-like computer-generated face that you can choose. The result is a virtual presenter that looks like a real person but is actually based on no one, and thus can be used for all your needs.
To customize a virtual presenter, you must have generated your video with our virtual presenter feature. Once the video is ready, go to the projects page, and click on the menu below the project thumbnail, then click on “Customize Virtual Presenter”.
A pop-up window will appear. You will see your current avatar, and you will be able to select the face you wish to replace it with. Navigate through the list with the arrows and click on “Swap Face”. The swapping operation generally takes a long time, so you can close the window. You will receive an email once your video has been modified.
